The insects of the genus Dysdercus is commonly called as red cotton stainer bug. .Body is dark red fifth nymphal instar. A pair of black spots on the wing with black legs and antennae. The species is a pest of cotton crops. Nymph is a immature stage which is to be a growth stage.
