 The insects genus Ceriagrion Damselfly belonging to family Coenagrionidae are commonly called as Coromandel Marsh Dart Damselfly. It is also known as Yellow Wax Tail Damselfly.

 The species are very common. Body medium sized, Eyes and thorax yellowish green but abdomen is yellow to brown in colour. Wings are transparent with yellow wing spots.
Habitat - Rice fields, Garden, Weedy ponds 
Distribution- India ( Gondia - Maharashtra ), Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan
