Insect Katta


Genus Gryllotalpa belonging to family Gryllotalpidae are commonly called as European Mole Cricket.
Body dark brown cylindrical yellowish underside. Fossorial nature . Fore limb s highly developed for digging. It is a pest which feeds on crops, vegetables.

 Distribution - India ( Gondia- Maharashtra), Russia, Europe Ukraine
