Red Pumpkin Bug 
The insect genus  Coridius is commonly called as red pumpkin bug. The  bug is belonging to family Dinidoridae. It is a plant feeding sting bug as a agriculutural pest.
Class - Insecta 
Order - Hemiptera 
Genus - Coridius 
Species - C. ianus Fabricius 

Host plant - Pumpkins, Melons, Gourds etc 
Location - India Gondia  Maharashtra
