Body shape are equilateral triangle, body colour are green/indigo, antenna enlarged at the end. Legs are brown.  Scutllum without any punctures.

Length -2-3 cm.

Distribution - India, SriLanka.

  The genus Tabanus ( horsefly ) are belonging to family Tabanidae. It is commonly called as oriental horsefly or true horsefly.
