This types of  beetles commonly called as  leaf beetles, sometimes called as tortoise beetles. Body small elongate oval green colour. Pronotum with median spot, on elytra with identify drop like 3 spots having emarginate elytral margin. Antennae and legs are yellow in colour. Scutellum large and triangular.

Distribution - India, Thailand, SriLanka.

  The genus Tabanus ( horsefly ) are belonging to family Tabanidae. It is commonly called as oriental horsefly or true horsefly.
