The beetles of this family Carabidae are commonly called as ground beetles.

Species -E. tomentosus  Laporte 


Body elongated short, head and thorax black. Body colour dark black. Slantly yellow seven strips formed on elytra of below lateral side. Antenna large, scutellum absent. Length are 28-30 cm 

Distribution -India, Russia, Thailand
