Insect Katta
The insects Ischnura aurora are belonging to family Coenagrionidae. It is commonly called as Golden Dartlet Male. Also known as aurora blue tail damselfly.

Small body, thorax shining black with two light green stripes. Sides are pale green. It has large head with large compound eyes.Eyes brown colour half moon like green greenish below. Legs with vertical black stripes on femur. Broad black strips runs along the upper side of abdomen. Blue tail is a identify this species.
This species have large postocular spots, completely blue on eight abdominal segments.
Length - 16-20 mm (abdomen )
Distribution - India ( Gondia, Maharashtra ), Iran, Sri Lanka
