 The insects moth of genus Scirpophaga belonging to family Crambidae are commonly called as Yellow Stem Borer or Rice Yellow Stem Borer.

Moth is small in size. Adult is dirty white or greenish yellow forewings. Identified black spots on both of the forewings. Males are smaller than females.

Distribution - India ( Gondia - Maharashtra, W. Bengal, Rajasthan ), Sri Lanka, Nepal, Asia

  The genus Tabanus ( horsefly ) are belonging to family Tabanidae. It is commonly called as oriental horsefly or true horsefly.
