Acrida is a genus of grasshopper in the family Acrididae. It is commonly called as Oriental long headed Grasshopper or Chinese Grasshopper

Grasshopper are jumping insects. Body greenish, long prominent heads and large compound eyes. Forewings are narrow thick while hindwings are thin, triangular.
It is one of the most diverse insects.The insects of this genus are omnivorous and pest of  agriculture

  The genus Tabanus ( horsefly ) are belonging to family Tabanidae. It is commonly called as oriental horsefly or true horsefly.
