Insect Katta

 

The beetles of this family Chrysomelidae are commonly called as leaf beetles.

Class- Insecta 
Order -Coleoptera 
Family - Chrysomelidae 
Genus - Aspidomorpha Hope 
Species - A. sanctaecrucis Fabricius 
(Golden tortoise beetle )

Body shape are elliptical and circular. Body colour yellow to brown, elytra uniform red brown to yellow to brown.
Antenna is fuscous dark. Legs are short.
Length - 11-15 mm.
Distribution - India, China, Indonesia, Asia
