The beetles of this family Dytiscidae are commonly called as water beetles.

Genus - Hydrophilus Leach 
Species- H. olivaceous Fabricius 

Body inverted boat shaped, brown black colour. Elytra longer than broad, brown black at apical half. Antenna thread like, 11 segmented. Legs are spine, strong and stout, modified for swimming.
Length -32 mm
Distribution - India, Eurasia, Island

  The genus Tabanus ( horsefly ) are belonging to family Tabanidae. It is commonly called as oriental horsefly or true horsefly.
