Insect Katta

Grammodes geometrica is a genus of moths belonging to the family  Erebidae  are known as fruit piercer moth.

Species - G. geometrica Fabricius 
( Fruit Piercer moth)

Body greyish brown, four large brown- black patches  on wing. Adult feed on Lantana camara plant ( Teak - berry plant ).
Distribution - India (Gondia - Maharashtra ), Sri Lanka,  Australia, Java
