Body shape miderately elongate, btownish colour. Elytra dumbell shaped equally flattened. Scutellum present but hidden. Antenna serrated.

Distribution - India, Nepal, SriLanka

  The genus Tabanus ( horsefly ) are belonging to family Tabanidae. It is commonly called as oriental horsefly or true horsefly.
